What we do

Four things that make life in China work

Not a chat group you mute after a week — a real-life community that answers your 11pm China-life question and then meets you for dumplings on Saturday.

01

Daily Crew Communication

Online groups and forums that act as the go-to lifeline for expat daily life in China — housing, healthcare, banking, mobile payments and everything in between.

02

Chinese Language Exchange and Learning

Break the language barrier with language exchange meetups, survival Chinese crash courses, HSK preparation groups and Chinese corner events.

03

Organization of Social Activities

An event calendar designed to help you connect, explore and thrive — from pub crawls and potlucks to badminton leagues and weekend camping.

04

Cultural Experience Activities

Dive deep into Chinese heritage with your crew — calligraphy, tea ceremonies, tai chi, Mahjong nights and guided tours well beyond the tourist path.

Cities & guides

Where the crew meets

14 cities across China. Guangzhou is our home base and the most active chapter.

Guangzhou

Our home base — Cantonese food, riverfront nights and the easiest city to make friends in.

Shanghai

China’s most international city — rooftop parties, business mixers and art weekends.

Beijing

History, hutongs and the Great Wall on your doorstep.

Shenzhen

Tech energy, coastline and a young international crowd.

Chengdu

Chengdu is famous for its relaxed pace, teahouse culture and spicy Sichuan food. Our crew runs hotpot nights, Mahjong learning sessions and panda-base trips.

Hangzhou

West Lake, tea hills and a booming tech scene. Our Hangzhou crew organizes lakeside runs, tea-picking days and weekend brunches.
